Well, here we are! If you’ve read about me before, you’d know I was a designer. But now, I’m thrilled to say that this has become my full-time career! I KNOW, RIGHT?! Who would have thought I’d be a self-employed boss lady just one year after starting The Relaxed Bride? Here’s to the future and to all the wonderful couples and suppliers out there.

And guess what? I’ve even won a couple of awards in my first year—no biggie! Super proud moment for me, so yes I will milk it as much as I like.

I've been lucky enough to spend the past 15.5 years OF MY LIFE with my amazing partner, 2.5 years of that being my husband. Yes, we are 'childhood sweethearts' , even though he says I was only supposed to be a short term thing. Rude.

Took him 10 years to propose though.

I do like the simple things in life and I must admit, I'm a bit of a homebody at heart. There's something incredibly comforting about being in my own space, surrounded by familiar sights and sounds and our new puppy, who is literally our child. Yep, I'm a dog 'mom!'

I could write about my whole epiphany in life i've had over the last couple of years but it's very long and I'm not sure if you have even managed to read this far down (if you have, then well done, maybe we can have a full story time one day?)
